A weekend visit to a National Trust property, had the added bonus of an old fashioned sweet shop, including “home made” fudge. Well, it would have been rude not to sample it!

A very nice, creamy fudge – the fruity ones have a real “burst” of fruit in them – definitely all natural and home made in small batches.

• Eton Mess
• Caramel
